Being a mother can be difficult, but add in a pandemic, and watch as your world crumbles around you.
This blog offers you, the reader, an insight into how my struggles with mental health affect my day to day. Hopefully in giving you a glimpse into my world, the barriers that have been in place for so long regarding mental health will crumble and fall.
My light, my life, and my reason.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed? Do you ever feel stressed? Sometimes the sweet things in life can turn sour, which makes it so important to maintain a healthy mental state. I have struggled with anxiety and depression and have found that it is so important to have that balance in my life that helps me through the day.
Lately I have been able to spend more time with my daughters, a silver lining to this pandemic. In that time I have come to realize that they are my anchor, my light, my life, and my reason for being. They shine brighter than any star, and even in my darkest of times, I can see that shine, and it helps me out of the dark. Seeing the world through their eyes gives me a fresh perspective on life, and offers me the opportunity to clear my mind, and see through eyes untainted. I don't think I can ever repay them for this gift. It has given me clarity.
